Laura Sanford is the Director of Operations and Strategic Partnerships at IDEA Training Collaborative, where she leads organizational initiatives, builds meaningful community partnerships, and ensures staff are prepared to support vulnerable populations and drive social change. With over a decade of management experience, she oversees administrative operations, ensures processes run smoothly, and maintains organizational compliance with training standards, recognizing that consistent training empowers staff to perform their roles effectively. Laura has worked in Toronto’s housing and homelessness sector for nearly eight years, leading emergency relocation efforts, providing case management, assisting with housing needs, and supporting newcomers in securing permanent housing during the pandemic. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Guelph and is a graduate of the Community and Social Service Management program, receiving the President’s Award for outstanding achievement.
