Meet Our Team
At IDEA Training Collaborative, our team brings together experience in shelter services, social services, training coordination, curriculum development, administration, and learner support. We work together to deliver practical, accessible professional development for frontline workers, supervisors, managers, volunteers, peer workers, and organizations serving people experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable populations.
As the official training centre for Toronto Shelter Standards courses, IDEA supports agencies and individual learners with training that is grounded in real sector needs, compliance expectations, and day-to-day frontline practice. Our team is committed to making training clear, relevant, and easier to manage, whether learners are completing self-paced eLearning, attending live online workshops, or joining in-person sessions.
Behind every course, registration, certificate, partnership, and learner question is a team focused on helping organizations build confident staff and maintain clear training records. From coordinating course delivery to supporting policy-aligned learning, the people at IDEA help make professional development more organized, approachable, and connected to the realities of shelter and social service work
