This training workshop focuses on select Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills adapted for use in brief interactions with clients by frontline workers. Participants will learn effective methods for utilizing these skills, particularly in the areas of distress tolerance and emotional regulation. The course will include activities and worksheets designed to help integrate these skills into day-to-day practice with marginalized populations.

- Understand the four main components of DBT.
- Explore select adapted DBT skills from each component, aimed at providing frontline workers with practical tools for client support.
- Learn how to effectively use worksheets with marginalized populations to promote emotional regulation and distress tolerance.
