Provide the number of participants—exact numbers are needed for courses with per-person rates, with a minimum of 15 participants required for agency training sessions. Important Notes About Agency Training
Participant Limits
Each training session has a maximum number of participants based on space, course design, and resources. These limits must not be exceeded. Additional costs may apply if limits are exceeded.
Agency Responsibility
The Agency Representative is responsible for managing registration, monitoring attendance, and serving as the main contact during training.
Attendance & Certificates
Participants must arrive on time and attend the full session. Missing 30 minutes or more of training makes a participant ineligible for a certificate. Some courses require self-paced modules to be completed at least 24 business hours before the live session.
Training Logistics
IDEA TC does not provide meals for in-person training. Agencies are responsible for meal planning.
Offsite Training Requirements
For offsite training, agencies must provide a suitable space with appropriate seating, presentation equipment (projector or screen), and basic training supplies. Some courses also require additional space for breakout activities.
Fees & Deposit
Training fees vary by course and delivery format and may include instructor, administrative, materials, room rental, and other applicable costs. A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total training cost is required to confirm and secure the training date. Invoices are issued after training and are payable within 30 days.
Changes & Cancellations
Format changes require advance notice. Cancellations made with less than seven business days’ notice may be charged in full.
Training Options & Customization
Agencies may choose from the following:
Standard Training: Use the current training designed for the shelter and social service sector.
Customized Case Scenarios: Adapt scenarios to the Agency’s organizational context, with a development fee of two hundred dollars.
In-Depth Customization: Full adaptation including site visits, policy review, or additional organizational needs. The development cost will be determined based on the specific requirements of the Agency.
