Course Description: 

The Aquatic Development & Emergency Training (ADET Inc.) provides a comprehensive two-day course in Standard First Aid, AED (Level C), and CPR. This hands-on training equips participants with essential skills to respond to emergencies in the workplace and beyond. The program covers adult and child CPR, unconsciousness, choking, bleeding, shock, severe allergies, diabetes, epilepsy, head trauma, and burns. It also includes the use of Defibrillators (AEDs) and teaches participants how to manage heat-induced emergencies and multiple injury situations. The training aligns with the latest CPR guidelines and meets WSIB requirements.


Learning Objectives: 

1. Conduct Primary and Secondary Surveys.
2. Learn to respond to heat-induced emergencies (heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and stroke).
3. Manage multiple injuries effectively.
4. Master infant/child resuscitation (CPR).
5. Use a Defibrillator (AED) with confidence.


Learning Outcomes: 

1. Participants will be able to assess and respond to emergency situations using Primary and Secondary Surveys.
2. Participants will be proficient in managing heat-related emergencies and injuries in both adults and children.
3. Participants will gain the ability to perform CPR and use AEDs effectively.
4. Participants will understand how to treat and manage various life-threatening emergencies, including choking, bleeding, and shock.
