e-Learning
Self-paced e-learning courses allow learners to complete the course at their own speed, without the need for scheduled class times. These courses are delivered through IDEA’s online learning management system, where learners can access materials, videos, quizzes, and assignments whenever it’s convenient for them. Once purchased, learners have access to self-paced courses for 30 days.
People can easily access our e-learning courses through a user-friendly online platform. After registering through IDEA’s training portal, learners receive access to a personalized dashboard where they can browse available courses and choose the ones that best suit their needs. Our e-Learning courses are designed to be flexible, allowing learners to progress at their own pace, depending on their schedules and preferences.

Once I register how long do I have to wait to get access to the course(s)?
Participants gain immediate access to self-paced online courses upon registration and payment. However, if a purchase is made by a representative of an invoiced member agency, access to the courses will be delayed as it requires approval from the agency’s manager or supervisor on file. Once approved, confirmation is sent directly to the learner.
For IDEA Training Collaborative members who have not received a discount, please note that the course rate is determined by your status at the time of registration. For example, if you become an IDEA member after registering, you will not be reimbursed the difference between the non-member and member rates. The course payment reflects the status at registration. For further details, please visit the Membership section of our website. This policy follows Bylaw No. 1 under the CNCA, effective May 13, 2013.
How do I apply for a refund?
All purchases for self-paced online training are final. Customers are responsible for ensuring the correct number of courses are added to their cart and are encouraged to carefully review the quantity and course names before processing the final payment. No refunds will be issued once payment has been completed.
Are discounts available?
IDEA Training Collaborative strives to price courses as affordably as possible, ensuring accessibility to all learners. While we do not typically offer discounts, we may provide discounts for bulk purchases, offering further savings for organizations registering multiple learners. Can I be invoiced?
Payment by invoice is only available to selected IDEA Training Collaborative member agencies. Individuals are not eligible for payment via invoice.
All purchases made via invoice require approval from the manager or supervisor on file, which may result in a delay in accessing self-paced online courses. Once the request has been approved, registrants will receive an email confirming their course access.
