Maya Mendez

Maya Mendez has a background in Corporate Law, Global Business Management, Community Management, and NLP and Leadership. Throughout her professional and personal journey, she has been driven by a deep commitment to protecting people, creating safe environments, and using knowledge as a tool for positive change.

Working within a non-profit training organization focused on shelters is especially meaningful to her, as it closely aligns with her values and dedication to service. Her volunteer work in nursing homes and orphanages further strengthened her empathy and reinforced the importance of dignity, care, and genuine human connection.

Maya also has basic knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL), reflecting her interest in accessibility and inclusive communication. In her role as Content and Policy Coordinator, she brings both professional expertise and compassion to her work, guided by the belief that thoughtful policies and meaningful training can have a lasting, positive impact on people’s lives.
