Rachel Dickson

Rachel J. Dickson, MSW, RSW is a Registered Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals in Toronto with mental health challenges, HIV, homelessness, and complex needs. She holds a BSW from Ryerson University and an MSW from the University of Windsor. Rachel currently works in Inpatient Psychiatry at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, where she conducts assessments, facilitates groups, supports interdisciplinary teams, and coordinates safe, community-connected discharges, with prior experience in Emergency Department crisis intervention.
Previously, Rachel served as Manager of Huntley Residence at Fife House, overseeing supportive housing for people living with HIV and complex needs. In this role, she led a multidisciplinary team, managed operations, developed programs, and opened a Managed Alcohol Program (M.A.P.) with clinical oversight. Her background also includes intensive case management and roles at the Toronto People with AIDS Foundation and Sherbourne Health Centre.
Rachel is passionate about equity-focused, trauma-informed care and was recognized with St. Joseph’s Health Centre’s Community Award for her commitment to trust, inclusion, and community-building.
