Riaz has been working for IDEA Training Collaborative since August, 2023 as the eLearning and Systems Coordinator. An avid proponent of social justice issues, Riaz has always wanted to work in the social service sector. He has found, in IDEA Training Collaborative, a perfect employment where he can apply his skills, and motivation to help vulnerable population.
Riaz has a Master’s in Development Studies from York University, a Bachelor’s in International Development from Humber College and a MicroMasters in Data, Economics, and Development Policy from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Previously, Riaz has completed a 6-month internship with United Nations Development Program’s headquarter in the United States. Prior to that he has worked for two NGOs: World Literacy Canada in Canda and Shusamaj Foundation in Bangladesh. Riaz also has gained substantial experience in the private sector while working for Toronto Dominion Bank, and International Pool and Spa Centres.
