NEW INSTRUCTOR OPPORTUNITIES
IDEA Training Collaborative is always seeking new Instructors to join our team and help us expand our impact.
We are actively seeking instructors with expertise in specific areas to strengthen our training programs. We’re looking for instructors who can deliver impactful sessions on topics such as:
Youth: working with vulnerable youth, shelter services, harm reduction, and mental health
Budgeting & Proposals: tailored for managers and directors in the human services field
Basic Skills Training: including computer skills, customer service, and communication
Newcomers: providing support and resources for immigrant and refugee populations
Families: working with families in need of support, including parenting, family dynamics, and community resources
Housing: addressing homelessness, affordable housing, and supportive housing models
Other Relevant Topics: areas that support the development and growth of frontline workers
We are particularly interested in instructors with lived experience and direct professional or work experience, as this perspective is invaluable in training those who work with vulnerable populations. These qualifications would be considered an asset.
Additionally, we’re on the lookout for subject matter experts who have experience with course development. If you have a strong background in creating educational materials and can design engaging, effective training, we’d love to hear from you.
